Sales Manager

We are seeking a talented Regional Sales Manager who will oversee sales activities within the Midwest region and manage sales representatives and distributors.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hires and trains sales representatives and distributors in assigned territory
  • Organizes sales schedules of assigned staff


  • Sells the company products in assigned territory
  • Keep CRM accounts up to date and accurate, monitor existing accounts, and regularly communicate with primary contacts for the account
  • Works to establish new accounts in the assigned territory
  • Works toward increasing sales growth in the territory at an established rate
  • Assists with the coordination of sales efforts for other territories and sales representatives
  • Collaborate with executive management to develop sales quotes and proposals
  • Gain a good technical understanding of our industry, software products
  • Learn and demo new product offerings, act as company representative at trade shows, conventions, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients

  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multitask, complete goals by deadlines, and complete work while traveling
  • Thorough technical background knowledge of territory, market, and clients
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, sales techniques, and ability to negotiate and close deals
  • Proficient in sales CRM software i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot, Freshsales, etc.
  • Organized with attention to detail with a variety of accounts, files, and reports

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • Five years of outside sales experience in industrial automation required
  • Experience with PLC, HMI (hardware, software), and SCADA (software)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel daily and spend most of the day in a vehicle
  • Valid driver's license with no major driving violations
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time
