Job Summary:

The Payroll Coordinator assists in the handling of all payroll related functions within the company. This will include processing payroll, taxation forms and benefits, as well as maintaining employee data, handling payroll questions and completing any other tasks necessary for monitoring and assisting in the processing of the company's payroll.

Essential Job Duties

  • Assist with the processing of the US based biweekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now
  • Review, audit, edit and sign off timesheets in ADP Enhanced Time for Time and Attendance
  • Export and verify timesheet data for payroll processing and create batch data entry
  • Understand multistate tax notices and related filings using ADP Smart Compliance
  • Audit payroll data related to personnel changes from new hires, terminations, promotions, demotions and intercompany transfers.
  • Process new direct deposits, tax forms, address changes and misc. data within employee profiles
  • Collaborate with 4 remote locations and their HR Teams in support of payroll administration
  • Process spot bonuses, sign on bonuses, relocation pay and calculate retro pays from promotions and pay rate corrections and adjustments
  • Create and record stop payments via Manual Pay adjustments for Instant pay from terminations and payroll corrections
  • Assign and activate employment Debit Cards from our Rapid Pay program
  • Complete wage statements from Workers Comp forms, Unemployment Insurance investigations and court orders for tax liens, child support and wage garnishments
  • Create, print and distribute various reports for IT, finance and human resource departments
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of payroll policies and industry best practices to resolve problems and create efficiencies
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
