Accounting Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Send lease papers to HYG Financial Services for funding/payment
  • Send completed lease papers to MH Lease Coordinator
  • Make lease files and maintain lease file room
  • Assist with contacting HYG Financial Services with customer requests
  • Help cover the front desk for lunch and vacation as scheduled
  • Handle customer’s requests for Certificate of Insurance
  • Maintain and update company vehicle list for insurance purposes
  • Maintain and update mileage log tracking for car allowance payments
  • Work with Enterprise Fleet on van movements between branches and various issues as they come up
  • Maintain and update company GPS tracking devices and systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Must have strong typing and telephone skills
  • Must have a high level of confidentiality
  • Must have the ability to work independently and also in a team environment
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills required
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel periodically
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Employee is expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. plus overtime as required.
