The Scheduling Manager will oversee the scheduling office and assist assigned facilities with staff scheduling support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

-Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times

-Help create a culture of superior customer service

-Be a problem-solver

-Development and day-to-day management of facility schedule/s.

-Oversee and manage the Scheduling office.

-Supervise the Scheduling office employees, if applicable.

-Serve as product expert for electronic advanced scheduling platform.

-Responsible for helping create and maintain staff schedules and shifts worked.

-Proactively manage scheduling requirements for full-time, part-time, and PRN employees.

-Utilize the scheduling system and/or manual records (while converting to electronic program) of staffing assignments and changes.

-Communicate with facility and staff to fill open shifts and call-ins.

-Review and assist with daily clinical staffing to help ensure targeted staffing levels.

-Help create staffing patterns and templates to increase efficiency and staff satisfaction.

-Work collaboratively with clinical and operations leadership to facilitate staffing changes/adjustments.

-Experience with staff scheduling in healthcare, specifically long-term care/skilled nursing care

-Experience with scheduling software

-Supervisory experience

-Superb communication skills

-Attention to detail and excellent follow-through

-Bachelor’s Degree preferred
