Under the direction of the Senior HR Generalist, the Human Resources Representative is responsible for staffing both exempt and non-exempt positions within the company while supporting the implementation of HR policies, programs, and objectives in conjunction with overall company goals. Establishes and utilizes relationships with employment agencies on an as needed basis. Works with supervisors and managers concerning decisions about transfers, promotions and employment issues.
Job Duties:

  • Identifies, screens, interviews, and helps place qualified internal and external candidates into open positions
  • Coordinate reference checks, pre-employment testing, and make recommendations
  • Develop strategies to source candidates for a variety of roles using traditional and non-traditional resources (career fairs, community network events, etc.)
  • Conduct training sessions (new hire orientations)
  • Maintains professional relationships with appropriate search firms in order to ensure an adequate candidate pool
  • Ensures all activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory guidelines (AA, EEO, FLSA, ADA, etc.)
  • Contribute to the development of a high performing HR staff to assure accomplishment of all HR objectives
  • Assist to modify and improve HR processes and measurements to support necessary results
  • Understand the business and stay current on leading business and HR practices and trends
  • Support employee relations and assist with providing guidance and coaching through team and individual feedback
  • All other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources preferred or Associate’s Degree in Human Resources with 1-2 years of recruiting experience
  • Additional HR certification is encouraged
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents such as new hire paperwork, payroll documents, etc.
  • Ability to write standard documentation
  • Ability to effectively present information to other employees in the organization
