Commercial and Residential Painter

The commercial and residential painter is someone who is a hard worker and enjoys seeing a job well done. With high work ethic and teamwork, the painter will be an important part in the success of this business, providing Seattle with a top quality painting service.

Job Duties

  • Job site preparation, unloading tools, and laying down drop cloths to protect ground surfaces.
  • Preparing surfaces for painting. Remove old paint, fill holes and wash walls. Sandpaper, wire brushes, scrapers and abrasive blasting may be used to prepare a surface. Holes and divots are to be filled with putty, plaster or caulk.
  • Mask/cover all surface that are not to be painted using tape, plastic and other materials.
  • Apply texture and primer where needed.
  • Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers to achieve desired top coat on surface. Painter will use the proper techniques for each application process.
  • Clean up including paint and dust from sanding and other materials. Clean all brushes and other tools. Load all tools off the job site.


  • Have your own transportation or carpool to job site.
  • Be on time at the job site clean and ready to work, showing proper hygiene and clean work uniform.
  • When supervising others, make sure they are appropriately trained.
  • Assume responsibility for job site safety and quality of work completed by all staff.
  • Responsible for job site safety and the quality of the work completed by all staff.
  • Ensure that customers are satisfied with the end result and remedy any discrepancies.

Accepting entry level to experienced painters. We will train the right person.
