Box Top Advertising (BTA) has an immediate role of Advertising Consultant to fill in this market. The Ad Consultant works as an outside print advertising sales rep, developing and maintaining an exclusive sales territory.

BTA specializes in specific and strategic advertising campaigns designed to help companies advertise, market and brand themselves on a local level. We’re looking for an experienced sales professional with past success in print advertising or direct sales to develop and maintain an exclusive territory in this market as an Advertising Consultant. If you have experience in ad sales with direct mail, newspapers, magazines, register tape, diner place mats, hotel directories, church bulletins or phone books, we're the place for you!

Advertising Consultant Role
Our ideal candidate will have elite communication and organizational skills with an attention to detail, excellent work ethic, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude. As an Advertising Consultant, you'll conduct the sales and marketing of our advertising program. As your territory matures, your role becomes more of an account/relationship manager, deepening existing relationships, as well as adding to your existing portfolio.This is a work from home sales role. However, most of the time is spent in the field on behalf of the clients in a very fast-paced, business-to-business sales environment. The sales cycle of our product is short, and almost all sales are made on the first or second visit to the client, typically within the same week. This role is results-driven, and therefore compensation is paid at 100% commission. First-year income expectation is $50,000 to $55,000, plus room to grow as the territory matures.

Duties and Responsibilities

Seek out and sign pizzeria partners to participate in our free pizzeria marketing program
Sell advertising space to companies in the pizzeria's surrounding business community
Effectively communicate with clients, design team and company leadership
Follow up with clients via face to face, emails and phone calls
Attend daily morning conference calls
Consistently update and maintain online sales reports
Deliver results and meet deadlines
Build and maintain a solid client portfolio
Experience and Requirements

Proven track record in an outside sales, B2B environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Extensive experience in a work from home environment
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently is A MUST
Ability to effectively use computer, printer, scanner and smart phone
Positive, professional, self-starter mentality
30-35 field hours a week plus 5-10 home office hours a week
Ability to consistently set and hit deadlines by prioritizing tasks
