IT Sales Executieve

Millennial Sales Executive position.
Location : NY/Boston
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish new relationships @ the customer place and achieve assigned sales quotas and targets
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as cold calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
  • Identifies and qualifies specific sales opportunities and effectively transitions the opportunities to capture teams.
  • Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales
  • Understand and stay current with technology trends and new solutions in the market. Effectively articulate VirtusaPolaris's solution offerings and capabilities.
  • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers.
  • Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions & report on sales activity. Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to improve sales tools
  • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in one or more of the following: Consulting Services, Business Process Outsourcing, or Information Technology solutions, services, and markets including knowledge of competitive offerings
  • High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Experience in building professional relationships
  • Unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred Skills:

  • Internal sales experience
  • Experience selling in competitive markets and assessing multiple solutions and system integrators
  • Understanding of Professional Services / System Integration organizations
  • Ability to comprehend, synthesize, and report on data and metrics
  • Experience creating and presenting executive level briefings and sales data analysis
  • Experience preparing business plans
  • Experience managing opportunity pipelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 per year
