Wholesale Account Executive

Essential Job Functions:

· Develop and maintain a detailed business sales plan to strategically solicit, grow and maintain strong relationships with mortgage brokers and mortgage bankers, who sell into the wholesale and non-delegated correspondent mortgage marketplace while travelling within an assigned territory.

· Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and applicability of loan programs, policies and procedures in order to articulate competitive differentiators and value proposition.

· Enter data into and maintain a customer relationship manager (CRM) for sales and marketing initiatives to prospective accounts and existing customer base.

· Identify and qualify new opportunities, conduct on-site inspections of prospective accounts’ premises, and manage the customer approval and recertification process.

· On-board new customers and continuously present educational training and updates to customers regarding loan products & programs, policies, procedures and technology.

· Cultivate both internal and external relationships to effectively manage customer expectations

· Monitor pipeline performance daily, including tracking monthly lock, submitted and funded volume, pull-through ratios, and loan quality.

· Collaborate with operations and sales stakeholders on customer challenges and issues; and deliver professional resolution.

· Analyze business metrics (KPI’s) and provide accurate, customer, competitor and market intelligence to Sales Management team.

· Maintain familiarity with legal, regulatory, and company policies and procedures, including attending industry educational seminars.

· Track and report business transactions monthly.

· Attend and engage in trade shows and other industry events.
Education and/or Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree desired

· Proficient in software programs to include Microsoft Office Suites and Ellie Mae Encompass.

· Strong working knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Government lending practices.

· Demonstrate business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales processes.

· Strong written, verbal, organizational and attention to detail skills.

· Excellent networking, relationship building and negotiation skills.

· Proven production history and established customer base (preferred).

· 2+ years of wholesale mortgage sales experience

Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities. Computer Skills:

Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Experience in Encompass preferred.

Possess strong data entry skills with minimal errors.

Physical/Driving Demands:
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to drive for work purpose.

Must keep active auto/driver insurance during employment at Loan Simple.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Ability to stand and sit for periods of time and to move intermittently throughout the workday.
Strong speaking and listening skills.
Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity.
Ability to interact with others, both in person and through phone, e-mail, and written correspondence.
Ability to perform focused work with close attention to detail.

Noise level is usually low to moderate.
