Studio Manager

Orangetheory Fitness is a trendsetting franchise fitness organization with 400+ locations open in the US and Canada and 440+ new fitness studios under development nationally and internationally. We are currently expanding in the Triangle and are seeking a qualified Studio Manager that is keen on driving sales and service excellence for our professional group fitness training facilities in the Triangle area. The studios that are currently hiring are: North Raleigh, Morrisville, Chapel Hill, West Cary, Holly Springs and Wake Forest. Job Description: The Studio Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the sales and group personal training team. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding for sales and operational excellence. The Studio Manager serves as the head of sales, and must be able to execute a marketing strategy plan to increase fitness program sales and promote health and wellness. As a team leader, the studio manager must be qualified to coach and aid in staff development.
Job Duties:

  • Manage and exceed all OTF sales and operational budgets
  • Responsible for meeting performance metrics (KPI’s), revenue, ordering, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance
  • Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales programs
  • Oversee the sales process and systems
  • Manage, monitor, coach, develop and evaluate the performance of all OTF managers and staff members
  • Monitor the hiring, training and scheduling of all OTF studio staff
  • Recruit all new OTF employees
  • Build and maintain OTF class size through scheduling optimization
  • Develop a high energy culture through contests and incentive-based motivation
  • Train and mentor subordinates

Operational Duties:

  • Responsible for OTF staff performance reviews
  • Ensure that all front desk systems are followed
  • Plan and promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis
  • Provide effective decision making regarding customer service issues
  • Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean, maintained and operationally sound

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven sales leadership is REQUIRED
  • Previous management experience in the health and fitness industry is strongly recommended
  • Must possess excellent leadership and management skills to ensure a positive, successful environment for both staff and clients
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and professional demeanor
  • Solid verbal and written communication skill is required
  • Ability to function and work in a team environment
  • Flexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed
