Financial Analyst

Financial Support Analyst

Location: Houston, TX

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Describes and analyzes current business/service processes.
- Implements tools that execute processes more efficiently to accomplish the business strategy.
- Analyzes trends and statistics to create action plans for process improvement.
- Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure adoption of applications and processes.
- Develops models for alternate courses of action.
- Develops and maintains process documentation.
- Provides end-to-end support to ensure the proper use of systems.
- Ensures processes align with company policies.
- Recommends effective & efficient business/service process for new applications/systems.
- Recommends best practice modifications to existing processes.
- Ensures process consistency between the communities through calls, meetings and workshops.
- Enrolls as a member and actively participates in appropriate Eureka SIGs.
- Maintains and develops key competencies by active participation on client conducted trainings/seminars.
- Participates and contributes in software upgrades or system implementations.

Essential Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
- Has completed at least 2-3 full cycle SAP FI implementation.
- Must have intermediary understanding of Management and Financial Accounting.
- Experience in GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Treasury, Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA) and Master Data setup.
- Basic understanding of integration of FI with CO, MM (Procurement to Pay) and SD (Opportunity to Cash).
- Basic understanding of SAP from business process, cross functional and integration perspective.
- Experience in integration/interface to third party applications.
- 2-3 years exposure in domain for business process in terms of overall risk, exposure, size and complexity.

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements
- Knowledge of Oilfield terminology and business practices.
- Understands business needs.
- Able to interact / engage users in a smart and efficient manner.
- Able to conduct feasibility studies to develop formal cost-benefit analyses.
- Able to prepare and deliver formal presentations or trainings to large groups.
- Able to facilitate competing demands between conflicting interests and priorities to reach a common process goal.
