Job Description

The Customer Service Manager - Accounts Receivable role is well suited for someone who has extremely high attention to detail, organizational ability, and passion for working with people. If you are hard-working, empathetic, and solutions-oriented, this is the job for you!


Customer Support (40%)

  • Provide enthusiastic and personalized customer service to Zencity guests and residents
  • Assist our guests and residents with their needs during the booking process, pre-stay, during their stay, and post-stay
  • Become a subject matter expert on Zencity technology, policies, and best practices
  • Manage financial audits, invoicing, and insurance claims process
  • Keep accurate logs of open accounts and lead collections process

Team Success (30%)

  • Provide training, coaching, and support hiring of Customer Service Agents
  • Help resolve outstanding guest questions and requests as escalated from team members
  • Become a subject matter expert on our 3rd party sales channels’ policies
  • Maintain accuracy of team resources and training materials

Quality Control (30%)

  • Review customer service processes, correspondence with customers, and customer trends to drive best customer service possible
  • Review customer and resident messages to track requests and open issues
  • Audit financial transactions to ensure accuracy of reporting, complete AR, and complete insurance claims
  • Help monitor customer reviews by posting public replies and identify trends

  • Highly effective communication, attention to detail, and organization skills
  • Highly organized and expert at tools like Excel / Google Sheets
  • At least 1-3 years experience in the customer service industry
  • At least 1-3 years experience in the hospitality industry - including direct experience working with hotel guests, Airbnb travelers, etc
  • At least 1 year experience managing financial transactions
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Proficient Microsoft Office / Google Suite products and familiar with payment processor platforms such as Stripe
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to see the big picture and execute day-to-day tasks while keeping a pulse on what is happening in the industry, digital space, and beyond
