Job Description
  • The Comoto Assistant Project Manager will aid in the planning, coordination, and administrative duties of new store opening projects and will manage elements for our technology-driven Omni-Channel Retail environment. With new stores opening across the country and our current stores seeing expansions and enhancements, you will have the opportunity to be the eyes and ears for our team. You will track multiple in-motion projects in various stages of completion, you will provide status updates through our project dashboards, you will work with outside vendors to ensure project milestones are being hit, and most importantly you will know the stages of a project and the documentation required at each step of the way. You will know this is the right fit for you if you geek out on all things process and project management related and you're comfortable with traveling frequently to both local and out-of-region projects.


Our Assistant Construction Project Manager Will:

  • Ensure each project (new store opening, expansion, or remodel) is set-up properly for continued operation including utility transfer, facility maintenance services, trash removal contracts, etc.
  • Complete RFPs and Bid Analysis for owner supplied items including lighting, ceiling trellis, doors, signage, ladders, etc. Ensure ship dates are inline with total project timeline
  • Create and track project POs; you will also process invoices.
  • Complete site visits for landlord handoff, project updates, and punch list. Travel required ~25%
  • Complete TI submissions to ensure we’re fully reimbursed for all landlord owed fees
  • Vet outside vendors, compare bids, and award contracts
  • Work cross-functionally to tackle projects of all sizes
  • Assist in measuring and reporting on KPIs and project milestones critical to project success
  • Update project dashboards to share with leadership

Our Next Assistant Construction Project Manager Has:

  • 1 year in construction coordination, construction/facilities project management, or construction administration experience (this includes internships)
  • Bonus points if you have: Experience using SmartSheet or project management tool equivalent, exposure to or experience with Confluence/Jira and JDE, retail store operations and/or construction experience. Enthusiasm for motorcycles is not required!
