Sales Representative

In life, there are hunters, gatherers, and farmers. A hunter is aggressive and fearless, not afraid to kill something a drag it back to the cave. A gatherer let's the work come to them or has other people hunt. A farmer takes time to nurture crops and is patient and waits for the harvest.

We are looking for a HUNTER. We need 4 aggressive sales people who will get to YES. Someone who is not afraid to take risks.

Job Description

The New Business Representative (NBR), in most agencies, is a position that is combined with the Account Executive. However, we believe that by separating new business and account services, each position is more effective for 726 and more importantly, for our clients. The NBR is solely responsible for generating, nurturing, and converting prospects to clients. This can be done by various methods:

  • Inbound Marketing
  • Cold Calls/Visits/Emails
  • Advertising
  • Attending local meetings/events
  • Community involvement
  • Etc.

Reporting directly to the New Business Director of the Agency Office, the NBR is responsible for building relationships and introducing our agency to the businesses within their area, and securing those businesses as clients.The NBR is responsible for generating and executing the agreement/contract with the client. The NBR is then responsible for presenting a Creative Brief to the Account Team and facilitating a smooth and successful transition of the client from the New Business Team to the Account Team.

A Day in the Life of…

  • Attend new business strategy meetings with New Business Director and other NBR’s
  • Conduct cold calls/visits/emails and other prospecting activities
  • Create proposals and presentations for prospects
  • Prepare and present contracts/agreements to prospects
  • Create and present Creative Briefs to Account Team to ensure smooth transition of prospect to client
  • Attend local events and gatherings for the purpose of networking
  • Research sources for developing prospects

Education and Training
The NBR must have prior sales experience with the ability to prove success in sales. We will provide training: advertising, marketing, media management.
