Accounts Payable Receivable Clerk

Job Description:

We are in search of a qualified and friendly individual with exceptional customer services to join the Platinum Home Warranty team, a warranty and retail service company. The AP/AR Clerk will be responsible to provide financial, administrative and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.


  • Data Entry for work order close out
  • Prepare, verify and process invoices
  • Job costing
  • Coding payment documents
  • Mailing current and past due invoices to customers
  • Posting payments to customer accounts
  • Creating deposits and filing receipts
  • Track, maintain and manage inventory for trucks and warehouse
  • Receiving and verifying invoices and requisitions for parts and supplies
  • Ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policy and on time
  • Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company
  • Payroll processing


  • Must possess knowledge of bookkeeping procedures including accounts payables and accounts receivables
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Effective verbal and listening communications skills
  • QuickBooks experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts
  • HR experience a plus but not required

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay $14-$16 based on experience
