Investment Writer

Job Summary:
The production of high-quality thought leadership and client communications is critical to the firms’ business strategy. As a part of the writing team, the Senior Investment Writer will partner with investment professionals, product management teams, and other stakeholders to create thoughtful, differentiated, and engaging content. Projects may include white papers, newsletters, sales ideas, product brochures, and third-party articles. There will be the opportunity to increase the firm’s online presence and focus on the digital space. The Senior Investment Writer will also be responsible for the creation of monthly investment commentaries. This core process involves monthly interviews with the investment teams, followed by work with stakeholders to incorporate feedback, obtain compliance approval and input content into the firms reporting system.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited college
  • 7+ years of related experience in the financial services industry creating thoughtful and engaging investment content, preferably writing investment commentaries and whitepapers
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Strong Relationship Management Skills; highly motivated team player

Beneficial Skills and Abilities:

  • Series 7 and 66 licenses
  • Experience with content management systems
