Majors Medical Service is a locally owned durable medical company with 2 locations operating in the DFW area. We have prided ourselves in providing quality customer service with the knowledge of the products we present to the user. MMS focuses on providing exceptional equipment that improves the independence and mobility of the patients living with temporary, long term, chronic illness, and disabilities. We deliver in home respiratory, cpap, rehab, complex mobility, and misc. medical supplies throughout the DFW area.

Position Type

This is a full-time customer service representative position (40 hrs per week) with a work schedule of M-F from 8:30 to 5:00 pm. We offer an hourly pay rate, health insurance, and PTO/holiday pay.

Summary of Position

We are looking for a motivated individual who will maintain a professional, positive attitude towards our end users and referrals. Someone who can be engaging and caring in their approach to each individual patient. Someone who can handle high-volume orders/calls and user issues, is a requirement. It is vital to maintain a great level of customer service, whether it’s over the phone or in person. The applicant must posses good multitasking abilities.

Essential Functions

  • Intake and responding to patient/referral inquire and requests in a timely manner
  • Working with other team members and assisting in different orders
  • Insurance verification such as eligibility, benefit, and deductibles etc.
  • Create/complete sales order in a timely manner and verify all required documentation is accurate and complete
  • Report to department manager
  • Assist/educate the users or providers in proper use and selection of the power mobility devices
  • Meet set productivity goals and standards

Required skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required; Associates degree preferred
  • 1-3 yeas in a customer service based professional environment
  • Experience with durable medical equipment and complex rehab is a plus
  • Knowledge in Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance verification is preferred
  • Basic understanding/experience using MS office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and general data entry skills
  • Attention to detail and able to juggle multiple task/priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
