Small Business Loan Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will coordinate all loan underwriting activities between the loan officer and the Organization’s underwriter (LIFTFund). Credit memorandums summarizing the loan request and decision will be prepared by this position. Responsibilities also include monitoring of client’s progress the lending programs, including micro-testing. This position also coordinates all of the pre and post loan activities. Other responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Loan Fund Managers, and other related tasks as requested by the Director of Lending and Training and Executive Director. Must be able to work independently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Loan Administration

  • Responsible for preparing correspondence for all lending.
  • Obtain required documents and information from prospective loan clients and input prospective borrower information into LIFTFund system, for underwriting.
  • Prepares loan closing documents.
  • Responsible for coordinating Loan Advisory Council, e.g. agenda, minutes, support materials, and communication with committee.
  • Responsible for remitting billing invoices twice per month
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate input, billing and receipts for loan clients via the loan management software platform, DownHome.

Strategic Planning & Program Evaluation

  • Assist in managing the strategic goals and project planning for the lending

Events

Coordination Lending Events that enhance the programming efforts

Support

  • Provides administrative support Lending Managers.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create databases, query and generate reports.
  • Must be an independent worker with strong verbal and written communicationskills.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks accurately.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 1-3 years administrative experience. Must be detail oriented, possess excellent organizational, analytic, interpersonal and communication skills.
