As our Financial Reporting Lead , you will have the opportunity to grow with the finance team, make immediate improvement and impact of the existing financial structure and workflow, contribute to the fastest growing start up portfolio companies with their management team.

In this role, you will facilitate, prepare, and implement different financial accounting based projects while working alongside the entire Redesign Health Strategy & Finance team. You will also have the opportunity to work very closely with our existing, and new, portfolio companies.

You will report to and work with our Controller remotely, or at our New York City headquarters if preferred.

What you'll do:
Facilitate Procedures

Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures, including billings, allocations, account reconciliations, journal entries and reporting.
Assist the team with the day to day accounts payable & receivable functions, operational reconciliations.
Assist the team in preparing monthly analytics, department variance report, quarterly Board packages, and other various management reporting packages.

Work with external accounting firm on audit support.

Prepare Documentation

Assist with preparing documentation for tax and audits.
Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.

Ad Hoc Projects

Recommend and implement improvements to existing systems, work processes and procedures affecting month and quarter end financial close.
Other projects as assigned.

What you'll need:

3-5 years of experience of relevant accounting experience (i.e. AR, AP, Financial Reporting, Consolidated Financials, Budget Analysis).
Ability to be super detail oriented, manage priorities, & be proactive and outcome driven.
Experience with NetSuite.

CPA certification.
