Our customer care team is expanding, and in need of a Customer Service Representative to handle inbound and outbound customer support. Sunny Energy, recognized as the top solar company in Arizona in terms of employee and customer satisfaction, is growing rapidly and adding customer support personnel. The Customer Service Representative will support operations and customer care through inbound and outbound communication by phone and email. The qualified candidate will be able to use their customer care skills to effectively communicate with customers, and the entire Sunny Energy team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering customer phone calls
  • Outbound and inbound phone calls to customers with project progress updates and to answer questions
  • Outbound and inbound emails with customers
  • 60-80 phone calls per day
  • Must be comfortable with confrontation and de-escalation
  • Record all communications and activities with customers in CRM
  • Support customer support staff with questions about customer concerns
  • Support customers directly, when needed, to help address their concerns
  • Work with Microsoft Office products, such as Word and Excel
  • Help identify ways to improve and help make those improvements
  • Handle other customer support issues as needed

This is a full-time position, and time flexibility for some customer schedules may be necessary.

Candidate qualifications include:

  • Must have at least 2 years of customer service experience
  • Must have experience working directly with individual consumers (as opposed to business-to-business)
  • Must have CRM experience
  • Must have an associates degree, or higher, from an accredited college (more years of customer service experience may be acceptable without a college degree)
  • 2 or more years of experience in residential contracting businesses is strongly desired
  • Capable of learning new products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively use a CRM (Zoho) and other online systems
  • Ability to handle job pressure from customers, scheduling issues, and other areas of the operation
  • Work as a Sunny Energy team member towards common goals
  • Most important, must be dependable, highly motivated, and able to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
