Print - Client Services Manager

Topweb, LLC is a privately-owned commercial printing company that has served its customers for over 43 years. Topweb specializes in cold web offset and inkjet digital printing and also provides bindery, inserting, mailing, and delivery services.

Topweb specializes in the printing of community, college, and ethnic newspapers but also works closely with clients in public relations, event planning, and the fine arts.

Duties and Skills: The position is a full-time salaried position. A college degree is required with customer service experience; experience in a commercial printing environment is highly preferred but does not disqualify a candidate.

Core customer service responsibilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality control of customer product.
  • Manage all phases of production process beginning with customer order and ending with customer receipt of papers.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with customers; to support healthy relationship with customer regardless but also for trouble-shooting any production or scheduling or delivery issues.
  • Facilitate job scheduling with Production Supervisor to ensure production areas are adequately staffed and jobs are completed timely.
  • Onboard and establish positive relationships with all new customers.
  • Coordinate and facilitate completion of all in-house mailings using BCC Software.
  • Coordinate and process customer shipments using UPS Worldship.
  • Manage schedule and timing of deliveries using combination of in-house driver and outside contractors.
  • Facilitate any outside production services as needed to ensure the final product meets the client’s expectations.

Additional Front-Office Responsibilities:

  • Launch bi-weekly payroll for Chief Financial Officer.
  • Perform weekly invoicing for customers using existing Excel templates; over time, the goal is to spread this across multiple people.
  • Launch the collections process when applicable.
  • Assist when necessary for the accounting and finance function.

  • Accounting: Are there opportunities to simplify or help what the Accounting function is responsible for?

  • Effectively utilize Excel to help solve any problems you may face in this role; you will partner with proficient users but the ability to identify issues and solve problems will help you in the role.
  • Experience with Excel data entry and quality control review.
  • Think creatively to propose process improvements to President/General Manager and Chief Financial Officer.

Relationships and Reporting: Chief Financial Officer is responsible for performance of this role; a dotted line exists to the President/General Manager; key peer is Production Supervisor.


  • At-or-above market rate for a full-time position requiring this experience and skillset.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
