Instructional Designer / Change Management Consultant

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Instructional Designer / Change Management Consultant with our industry-leading client in Charlotte, NC.

Collaborate with project teams and subject matter experts to transform business process documentation into effective training resources such as eLearnings, job aids, user guides, instructor-led materials, videos, and simulations
Monitor project’s design, build, and test activities to interpret impacts and required changes to training plans and materials which are in-development
Provide estimates of time and effort to complete work to ensure that the overall project schedule is met
Effectively communicate progress and issues in a timely manner; develop solutions to barriers to ensure the project’s objectives are met
Collaborate with Change Lead on the use of approved methodologies and templates to develop and maintain plans specific to accurate identification of stakeholders, assessment of impacts, communication and training needs, and monitoring of end-user and organizational readiness criteria
Develop targeted communications containing approved key messages, dates, and impacts that are delivered during live demos, presentations, or email


Must have experience in instructional design and e-learning development
5 years of related work experience developing training and communication materials
Proficient in Articulate Storyline
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a training and/or communication field

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing training for Financial and/or IT processes/systems
Experience in a Project Management work environment
Experience using Camtasia to develop professional videos
