Social Media Manager - Talent Acquisition

 

The Social Media Manager is an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team, will plan, develop and implement content and talent attraction strategies to position Kindred at Home as an employer of choice.  This professional will collaborate with marketing and employee communications to focus on increasing candidate flow through social media, digital channels, printed materials, email marketing, and job descriptions. This role will be key in ensuring each channel is used correctly for its advantages, and that the employment brand represented is true to Kindred at Home’s values.  This role will work closely with our Marketing, Communications, and HR teams.

  • Understand the big picture regarding employer brand strategy.
  • Manage programmatic advertising spend to ensure optimal candidate flow for our most critical positions.
  • Research, develop, implement, and measure innovative talent attraction strategies using social, digital, and mobile media to increase applicant flow.
  • Act as a strategic partner to recruiters and hiring managers to attract diverse highly qualified candidates across the enterprise.
  • Develop robust multimedia recruitment communications in partnership with Marketing and Employee Communications.
  • Leverage existing corporate events and facilitate the generation of new multi-media content from employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Evaluate employee survey data, job market conditions, industry trends, and competitor data and adjust strategies as required.
  • understand target job seeker groups and get to know the content types and messaging required to engage with these groups.
  • Contribute to the total effectiveness of the department, communicate openly, solve problems proactively, offer creative ideas and work as a positive, engaged team member.
  • Recommend and implement cutting edge initiatives that improve job seeker perception of the Company and drive top talent into the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, HR or related field
  • None required
  • Minimum of 5 years recruiting and recruiting program management experience; to include 3 years using multiple media channels to attract talent
  • Some project management experience is preferred
  • Solid expertise in the creation, implementation of media outreach and social media and digital marketing strategies
  • Recruitment experience using media channels to include Facebook, Instagram, Glassdoor, Indeed, Appcast, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
  • Proficiency in managing the creation of marketing materials, marketing tools, measurement and social media tools
  • Demonstrated ability to measure the impact of attraction strategies such as recruitment campaign results, social media impact, and results of digital campaigns
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex projects across a variety of functions
  • Solutions-oriented self-starter
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects with changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong research methodologies.
  • Must read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Must have good and regular attendance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
