Specialist, Affiliate & Partnerships

SUMMARY

With guidance from manager, the Specialist, Affiliate & Partnerships will support partner on-boarding & maintenance, campaign execution, program management, and reporting of affiliate marketing activities.

This role collaborates with external partners, merchandising, marketing, brand, loyalty, analytics, and ecommerce product teams to execute, analyze, and report on affiliate marketing activities to deliver traffic, financial, and customer growth for GameStop.

This individual has familiarity with the affiliate marketing landscape and operations, and can work independently to plan, launch, manage, and report on all aspects of marketing programs. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, metrics-driven and obsessed with flawless execution to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Collaborates to deliver affiliate marketing team achievement of financial and customer growth goals
  • Works independently with partners to facilitate all aspects of partner management including addressing questions, providing program updates, overseeing account setup & maintenance, updating on status of projects, ensuring accurate partner payout, and delivering recommendations for improvement
  • Identifies, recruits, and manages mid and low-tier partners
  • Develops and maintains marketing calendar including messaging, landing page, tracking links, creative needs, and post-campaign performance
  • Acquires and traffics assets for partner marketing campaigns including creative, messaging, landing page, and URL tracking
  • Analyzes, reports, and provides insights on program metrics internally and to external partners
  • Provides research and insights on competitor, industry, and customer behavior trends
  • Recommends ways to streamline and improve current workflows and processes

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • Accredited bachelor's degree required
  • Two to three years of experience supporting affiliate marketing and partnership programs
  • Experience with SKU intensive retail ecommerce business strongly preferred
  • Direct affiliate marketing experience (in-house, agency, publisher, network) required
  • Familiar with all aspects of affiliate marketing workstream: recruitment, fraud management, relationship-building, daily program operations, tracking, budget management, partner payment, and analytics

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics and affiliate networks (Rakuten, Commission Junction, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English
  • Able to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities
  • Data-driven, customer obsessed growth-minded marketer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities
