Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

Please Note: Consultant must be located in one of the listed site locations. Position is currently remote; however, consultant may be required to work on site when Wells Fargo returns to standard operating model.

Please note: Work hours are 9:00 – 6:00 pm CST, Monday – Friday.

Responsible for making outbound calls and taking inbound calls with the objective of extending contact to sell new or additional products and/or services. Representatives must be able to clearly articulate between unique industries, programs, and market segments. Requires advanced knowledge of company, products and/or services.

Requires advanced problem solving and/or sophisticated sales techniques along with advanced knowledge of the sales process. Representatives act as a liaison between various departments and the merchant/client/customer to reach sales conclusion. Analyzes profitability of the relationship and makes recommendation to management about account disposition. Works on special projects as assigned.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.



Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales experience, relationship management experience, or a combination of both



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience managing complaints and objections effectively and professionally
  • Knowledge and understanding of equipment finance and leasing
  • Ability to escalate issues
  • Ability to develop and manage client relationships
  • Ability to work with limited supervision



Other Desired Qualifications

• Accepting and adhering to high ethical standards and personal values in decision making and when dealing with others
• 3 years prior sales experience in addition to customer service
• Responsible, reliable, dedicated and committed to fulfilling obligations and being a team player
• Experience/dealer relationships within Office Imaging
• System knowledge – SuperTrump, Siebel, ISM
• Ability to work cross-functionally to grow dealer volume profitably

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

MO-Moberly: Min: $35,600 Mid: $49,500
IA-Des Moines: Min: $39,600 Mid: $55,000
