OVERVIEW:A global IS/IT Management Services firm is looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead and manage a variety of work projects related to IS/IT operations and business processes for a major automotive industry client. Services the company provides include equipment proposals and asset management, IT security, resource management, software maintenance and upgrades, capital IT projects, and other special event support. The IT Manager is responsible for interacting with Information Systems divisions at our client and also a parent company (a leading automotive manufacturer) to receive instructions, support projects and share status information, coordinate changes and obtain requirements, and propose strategies to ensure IS/IT meets current and future requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO: • Perform business-critical IT projects, tasks and systems administration (Network & Security Management, User Set-up and Help Desk Management, CATIA Support). • Manage IT functions at the client site by leading and supervising the departmental employees and their performance.• Identify department needs, vulnerabilities, and areas of improvement to propose strategic IT solutions to achieve the company goals.• Prepare cost benefits analysis reports on upgrades and solicit vendors to get Products and Services aligned to the company standards and requirements.• Manage open issue to completion by providing technical support (software and hardware) and troubleshooting.• Lead technical divisions at the client and the parent company on the projects of internal/external designs.• Manage disaster procedures and data backups. Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.• Maintain the customer interface at the site and the parent company and participate semi-annual executive meetings.• Develop and analyze KPI reports and present to stakeholders.• Other duties requested by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, business or administration• 5+ years experience in IT management• Hands-on experience with network administration and installation (enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring)• CAD(CATIA) experience is a plus
