Job Description

About the Role:

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for a variety of accounting and finance functions supporting Treasury and Real Estate Accounting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for completing account reconciliations and preparing journal entries.
  • Responsible for completing tax agency reports.
  • Complete sales reporting for landlords and license renewals.
  • Review daily bank correspondence and ensure timely resolution of all banks adjustments and NSFs.  Ensure claims are forward to our check processer as needed.
  • Respond to store bank issues timely and evaluate and recommend potential resolutions.  Work with our banking partners to implement changes.
  • Act as a backup to process and report on deposit discrepancies.
  • Conduct special projects at the request of management.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or 4 or more years of equivalent work experience.
  • Motivated professional with strong analytical skills who performs with a high degree of accuracy and is attentive to detail.
  • Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Excel.  Intermediate working knowledge of MSOffice – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint. 
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, reports, financials, etc. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and public groups.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents with regards to policies, procedures and accounting implications.
