Global Head of Investor Relations

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will lead Company’ global IR effort, working closely with the global management team and the Board of Directors to develop, lead, and execute a best-in-class investor relations discipline.

The objective of the role will be to ensure Company’s strategy, performance, management team, and brands and businesses, as well as its investment merits, are positioned accurately, positively, and consistently with key stakeholders, primarily those in the investment community. In addition, providing sound expectations of management and credible and transparent disclosure are critical.

The individual will enjoy broad access to senior leaders to ensure their ability to represent the Company’s direction and performance. In addition, they will be expected to provide value to internal constituencies as a key resource and strategic contributor throughout the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility for shareholder engagement program, positioning the Company within the investment community and for building and maintaining relationships with capital markets stakeholders, including investors, research analysts, rating agencies and other pertinent stakeholders.

• Articulate Company’s mission, strategy, financial and operational results, business objectives, and long-term vision. Communicate feedback and perceptions of the Company to the management team, as appropriate.

• Develop an updated and cohesive equity story and create and enhance investor communications materials. Includes quarterly earnings, annual report, annual meetings, roadshows, investor conferences, analyst event materials and supporting documents, input to relevant portion of proxy statement, and the IR portion of the Company’s website.

• Develop and implement a tailored investor relations strategy and shareholder engagement and outreach program, with a view toward cultivating strong support from the investment community and building and maintaining credibility.

• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for investment community. Respond to inquiries from buy and sell side investors and maintain the Company’s ongoing IR database.

• Lead the planning and execution of investor events such as Investor Days, non-deal roadshows, sell-side conferences and presentations, and develop the supporting collateral materials, in coordination with internal stakeholders and/or consultants.

• Lead the earnings preparation process, including: close coordination with Company’s Head of Communications in developing press releases, executive Q&A, scripts, and other prep materials. Collaborate with internal business leads and subject matter experts to obtain relevant data and content.

• Track Wall Street analysts’ models and estimates, compile internal quarterly consensus, and communicate quarterly consensus to external stakeholders, as needed.

• Develop and manage targeting programs for prospective investors to encourage interest and investment in Company.

• Manage the Company IR website to ensure brand consistency, ease of use, and timely and effective dissemination of key disclosures. Identify opportunities to enhance external investor resources and lead in their creation.

• Work closely with the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility to contribute to the Company’s ESG initiatives. Manage ESG agency relationships and collaborate with internal teams to understand and highlight progress on key issues to external stakeholders.

• Build and maintain expertise in the company’s brands and business areas. Stay current on all business activities, in order to be responsive to investors and to communicate effectively with management.

• Proactively monitor industry trends and competitive landscape by tracking research reports, news, peer/competitor earnings, and other relevant resources to inform Company’s external communications.

• Develop strong relationships and collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders. Exercise sound judgement in seeking support from senior leaders in meetings with stakeholders.

• Identify and communicate strategic and tactical ideas for the continuous improvement of the IR program.

Essential Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

• 15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of demonstrated success in Investor Relations, having successfully developed and implemented strategic and proactive IR plans that have delivered results.

• Experience with public U.S. consumer-oriented company, preferably with a global footprint.

• Experience in delivering presentations to C-Suite and Board of Directors.

• Organizational and project management experience with the drive to lead projects to successful outcomes.

• Strong reputation and network of investment community relationships (investors, analysts, rating agencies and financial media).

• Credibility and gravitas with external and internal constituencies.
