Experis has partnered with a local benefits administration organization on the search for a remote Service Manager. This person is responsible for working with various internal departments to ensure the overall satisfaction of clients.

Position Overview

  • Plan and execute the start-up of new products and services for the assigned clients; confirm the documentation of client decisions; ensure configurations conform with client requirements.
  • Manage assigned Account Manager and Senior Account Managers
  • Determine assignments to Account Managers or Senior Account Managers and maintain an even distribution of work based on experience and skills
  • Participate in account planning with sales teams
  • Monitor service delivery and client satisfaction with products and services.
  • Identify and evaluate trends in client concerns for suggestions to improve organizational processes.
  • Oversees client on-site audits and participate in the implementation of action plans surrounding contractual requirements and gaps identified in audits.
  • Document and monitor internal progress on corrective action plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends to effectively address client concerns.
  • Identify potential efficiencies and work flow improvements based on knowledge of industry and internal business practices.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a primary contact for service concerns
  • Experience in complex, highly regulated environments
  • Medical or dental claims experience highly desired
  • Project Management experience
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, able to hold others accountable
  • Expert-level Conflict Management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure time-lines and deadlines are met.
  • Work flow optimization for efficiency and potential cost savings
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and CDT procedure coding is preferred
  • Preferred experience in health care insurance operations and/or servicing large health insurers
  • Visio
  • MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Basic SQL and relational database experience preferred
  • Able to travel as needed - roughly twice/quarter
