Business Loan Administrator

A local Credit Union is confidentially looking to add another member to their banking family. They are seeking a Business Loan Administrator with at least one year of prior experience that will support their loan officers and be a valuable member of the team.

  • Provide quality service to both internal and external customers.
  • Service and respond to inquiries about business loans and accounts.
  • Interact with other departments to respond to customer inquiries and/or solve member problems.
  • Be the face of the Bank when interacting with the loan applicants to gather personal documentation.
  • Prepare and assist in the preparation of management information reports, loan presentations and departmental correspondence.
  • Perform various functions: loan maintenance, loan advances, transfers, loan payments, etc.
  • Prepare monthly billing and reporting.
  • Coordinate loan closings.
  • Assist with completing General Ledger transactions used in the Credit Dept.
  • Maintain collateral and insurance tracking to ensure required recordings and satisfactions have been recorded.
  • Track financial information at the loan level to ensure required financials are up to date.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • Ability to handle various projects at the same time, work under pressure, meet established guidelines, and prioritize work.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of the loan policy, products, and services.
  • Must know how to read and understand credit reports.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Symitar and SAGEWORKS systems
