Sales Operations Specialist

Provides support to National Accounts existing relationships and onboarding new firms. Monitors and maintains selling agreements and works with broker/dealers, IMOs, and fixed agencies to serve as a first point of contact. Coordinates logistics for National Accounts conferences and home office meetings and creates and distributes reports as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

60% Provides support to National Accounts conference planning and coordinates logistics for Securian home office meetings.
• Supports National Accounts with conference deliverables for National Sales Conferences (IBD)/Industry Conferences and regional conference planning.
• Coordinates formal invitation process for home office meetings with key firms, key individuals, and advisors.
• Orders and assembles booth, marketing materials, and trinkets.
• Prepares any technology equipment needed for breakouts and/or meetings.
• Coordinates and runs Webex presentations as needed.
• Coordinates all aspects of dine around events such as location selections, transportation logistics, and invitations.
• Effectively coordinates all home office resources needed to meet conference needs.
• Leverages the most efficient and cost effective means possible while ensuring professional and notable presence

30% Serves as centralized resource accountable for ensuring effective and efficient reporting.
• Analyzes informational requests and identifies resources (i.e. Salesforce) to gather necessary information needed to modify, create, and distribute reports, including:
• W&R monthly market share reports (annuities and life).
• Monthly wholesaler activity reports and monthly scorecards for W&R and CFG.
o W&R monthly sales reports (annuities, retirement, and life).
o Various monthly reports for select IBD firms.
o Winter and summer Securian National Sales Conference reporting.
o Ad hoc reporting as required by client.
• Coordinates with other areas as needed for report requests and tracks progress to ensure reports are completed and distributed in a timely manner
• Distributes reports to outside broker dealers.



10% Responsible for the purchasing function for Nation Accounts Managers and wholesalers.

• Performs related activities as directed, and manages personal self-development to prepare for new responsibilities and challenges in a changing environment.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS
* Strong organization, planning and prioritizing skills needed to effectively balance multiple projects and/or tasks, including coordination with multiple departments and individuals.
* Possesses a general understanding of Law/Compliance requirements to help ensure all materials produced meet compliance guidelines while retaining the integrity of the product and/or promotional message.
* Expertise with various technologies used to support the creation of materials and reports to support alliance relationships (e.g., Excel, ExactTarget, PowerPoint, WebEx, Word, Adobe Professional, Lotus Notes, GetThere, Concur).
* General knowledge of annuity and retirement plan marketing materials and divisional contacts that can support alliance-related needs.
* Effective writing skills to draft a variety of communications.
* Professional and approachable verbal communications to support event coordination and alliance relationship development.
* Ability to deliver a high volume of quality results with a sense of urgency.
* Detail oriented and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
