Clinical Manager- Treatment Center

Bay Cove Human Services partners with people to overcome challenges and realize personal potential.

It is the mission of the Bay Cove Treatment Center to help individuals with opioid use disorder to achieve a recovering lifestyle. This mission is accomplished through the use of medication for opioid use disorder

(either through the modality of detoxification or maintenance) and by outpatient individual and group

counseling (on site and via telehealth platforms), drug screening, and added services including case

management, recovery support, HIV/AIDS treatment, and family/couples counseling as needed.

This is an exempt position

.Essential Functions of Position:

  • Oversee program’s clinical services and clinical operations
  • Perform individual and group therapy as needed
  • Assign all new clients to individual and group treatment
  • Monitor client attendance to ensure consistency of treatment contracts
  • Supervises the clinical team including Sr. Clinicians, Clinicians, Case Managers, Recovery Support
  • Navigators

  • Assist in development and preparation of grant proposals, licensing contracts, and funding resources to
  • improve and expand on existing services
  • Assist in development and implementation of new programs and services in response to client need
  • Assist in the quarterly review of client charts
  • May perform other duties as assigned per Program Director

Requirements for the position:

  • Masters degree in human services field
  • Licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LADC-1) in substance use treatment or mental health required
  • Minimum two years’ experience in substance use or mental health treatment
  • Strong knowledge of the substance continuum and services and related community resources
  • Demonstrated documentation and communication skills
  • Must have the ability to work with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use
  • disorders in a respectful, compassionate and supportive manner
  • Must be able to work within a management and treatment team member as well as independently
  • Ability to think creatively/brainstorm
  • Ability to interpret principals of good management and implement application of these principals in
  • daily work
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Ability to function under pressure in a fast-paced human services environment
  • Ability to negotiation and resolve differences
  • Ability to be flexible, open and responsive to ongoing industry changes
  • Ability to articulate and communicate Bay Cove’s mission and strategic direction in a consistent and
  • enthusiastic manner to departmental staff
