Title:  New store Opening Training Team - Supervisor



Reports To:  Director of Ops Services.

FLSA:  Exempt

Supervises:  None                                                      

 

Summary / Objective: Opening and training of all new and renewed Boston Market Restaurant’s.When building is turned over to the opening team you will be responsible for supporting GM and team getting restaurant team ready for opening day.  Ensure QSC standards are integrated throughout the training.



Essential Functions 

  • Conducts Key People process standards and behaviors evaluations and coaching to ensure restaurants are providing a quality staff experience.
  • Conducts Key Customer standards and procedures evaluations and coaching to ensure personnel are providing a quality experience to our guests.
  • Assists in operations deployments and validation rollouts as needed.
  • Communicates standards evaluations findings to the manager on duty (MOD) following each visit and clarifies findings as needed in a collaborative manner.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.
  • Maintains behaviors and actions consistent with the company’s values and standards.  
  • Works additional hours as needed. 
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned.
  • Travels extensively via car and air in assigned market and across the country as needed.

Work Environment

  • Withstand temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less and 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more.
  • Move throughout the restaurant for extended periods of time (up to 10-12 hours per day).
  • Move 50 lbs. for distances of up to 10 feet.
  • Balance and move up to 25 lbs. for distances of up to 50 feet. 
  • Understand and respond to team members’ and guests’ requests in a loud environment.
  • Perform basic math and understand finances and cost management.
  • Bend, stoop, and reach in order to load and spit chicken, stock shelves, serve customers, and clean the restaurant.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, approximately 5 days a week, 8-10 hours per day (this would include your travel time) Work Minimum Of 2 weekend days per month.  In Q4 more additional hours may be mandatory.



 



Required Education and Experience

  • Ability to travel extensively via car and air in assigned market and across the country as needed.
  • Reside or relocate to a strategic geographical area designated by Boston Market within assigned territory. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. 
  • 2 year of experience in the food industry, preferably in operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in written format
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and tact in difficult situations or discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold standards at all times.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with other business partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, adapt to and communicate new processes and procedures.
