The ideal candidate will be able to work from our Collegeville, PA or Secaucus, NJ location (when we return to the office) or will be located in the northeast of the US with the ability to travel to Quest locations as needed.


Health Plans Marketing Manager, the role:

The Health Plans Marketing Manager will work with the Health Plans Marketing Director to ensure execution of marketing plan. This professional will develop tactics that support the strategies of the marketing plan to drive awareness of Quest Diagnostics and drive qualified leads.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage health plan lead generation activities, including marketing automation relationships, campaign performance analysis, and maintenance to support campaigns
  • Conduct market research efforts to understand health plan priorities, objectives, and challenges and apply customer insights in tactical execution
  • Provide guidance on Health Plan call point stakeholder and persona requirements and develop and execute tactics aligned to the buyer’s journey
  • Integrate voice of customer, and Quest brand expression, into marketing strategies and tactics
  • Design and deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Compose internal communications regarding marketing activities, updates to resources, new materials, website updates, sponsorships and events
  • Drive a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels including but not limited to content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, , and copywriting,
  • Build relationships and partner with internal (business partners, peers) and external stakeholders (key industry players, agencies and vendors)
  • Manage and allocate project budgets accurately, appropriately, and on time

To qualify, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Business degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years success in a marketing role
  • 5+ years healthcare industry experience preferred, ideally within the health plan space
  • Healthcare technology experience a plus
  • Up to 30% business travel required
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross functional teams and in a matrix environment
  • Excellent project management skills, including management of agencies and vendors to ensure execution
  • Superior communication skills including ability to develop superior slide presentations and deliver formal business presentations
  • Initiative – ability to independently problem solve and find resolutions
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to synthesize market/customer insights into prioritized marketing opportunities
  • Strong capabilities in analyzing data to demonstrate quantifiable opportunities or results
  •  Core marketing capabilities to design marketing strategies and tactics to maximize opportunities
