Strategic Customer Support Representative - KAST

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Key Accounts Service Team Coordinator. The Key Account Service Coordinator provides exceptional, professional and efficient service to Key Accounts, National Accounts and Premier Accounts in the rental of construction/industrial equipment and store items. This position is considered the one centralized point of contact for these accounts and does whatever is necessary to satisfy the customer’s needs and requests. This role exemplifies the Sunbelt Promise of reliability, availability and ease to our customers.
 

Position Responsibilities:

** THIS HOURLY SUPPORT POSITION IS NOT A SALES ROLE **

  • Manage all Strategic, National and Key Account customer orders and queries in accordance with Company Policy and Partnership Agreements

  • Goes above and beyond to find innovative solutions to satisfy the customer’s needs

  • Provides responsive, exemplary customer service to customers, regardless of the reason for contacting Sunbelt Rentals

  • Improve revenue and service standards by accurately establishing customers’ needs and identifying opportunities for additional rental and sales requirements

  • Communicate effectively with the “owning” Profit Center to ensure effective delivery and/or special needs requested by the customer

  • Improve on Marketing Strategies by effectively logging each incoming phone call and categorizing each call appropriately in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program or similar program used for that purpose

  • Manage all customer issues in accordance with Company Policy and the Partnership Agreements

  • Manage all customer complaints and route complaints quickly to the Team Leader, Manager and/or Sr. Manager when there is difficulty in resolving their issue(s) effectively and on a timely basis

  • Communicate effectively with Strategic, National, and Key Account Managers on their customer’s activity, and ensure that the customers’ requirements are being delivered in accordance with their Partnership Agreement

  • Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader and/or Manager

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience in either a call center environment or a dedicated customer service department

  • Embraces change and acts on suggestions to improve processes and service levels

  • Maintains a strong customer service ethic, by demonstrating a positive approach toward the customers’ needs

  • Must be a strong team player and enjoy supporting others to “get things done”

  • Preferred 1-2 years of rental industry experience or construction

  • Preferred experience with AS400 or WYNNE operating systems


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous equipment rental or construction industry experience

  • Working knowledge of Sunbelt’s point of sale system (Wynne)

  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus


Physical Demands:
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
