Manages all activities related to branch operations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Encourages employees to work together as a team to help insure a profitable and successful branch.


Essential Job Functions (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)

• Coordinates employees' work schedules (minimal overtime) with the Service Manager, Warehouse Manager, Retread Foreman and Branch Manager.

• Schedules route deliveries with Sales Department and customer needs.

• Oversees and assists with warehouse functions. Insures timely deliveries from the salesmen's rows. Does not allow the established sales rows to sit idle; they must be delivered on a weekly basis.

• Assists in daily billing. Submits all tire tickets, tags and work orders to the front office for billing before delivery date.

• Assists in the daily loading/unloading of deliveries and maintaining warehouse and inventory.

• Responsible for adjusting all new tires/tubes by preparing documentation and processing claims to vendors. Following through on credits to STTC and STTC's customers. Processes credits to accounts promptly.

• Assists in selling and handling customer's needs, and properly maintaining show room and office area.

• Works with scrap tires hauler to keep minimum amounts on hand at all times. Make sure the scrap is billed prior to loading trailer.

• Assist Service Manager with service needs and vehicle and maintenance.

• Promote a safe workplace. Must report and document any work related injury and/or infractions against STTC's policies.

• Coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions of the STTC and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.

• Orders supplies. Capable of basic billing functions to assist office personnel as needed.

• Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures.

• Must be familiar with Branch Manager's responsibilities and assume those responsibilities as needed.

• Supervisory responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Qualifications

Requirements

• Education and/or experience: Equivalent work experience and/or training.

• Language skills: Ability to read and interpret English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of STTC.

• Mathematical skills: Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form.

• Computer skills: Ability to use computer; training will be provided as needed.

• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver's license, forklift certification. STTC will provide forklift certification.

• Equipment: Capable of operating forklift, telephone, calculator, computer, photo copier and fax machine.

• Dress code: Pants and shirts are provided by Service Tire Truck Centers at a reasonable cost.

Work environment: while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to hot and/or cold warehouse conditions and occasionally exposed to all weather conditions due to dock exposure. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
