Position Summary
Assist the Health, Business, and Professional Services division by providing excellent customer service and support to students, staff, faculty and visitors. Essential Functions

  • Respond to inquiries, redirecting as appropriate, and take messages using multiple modes of technology.
  • Perform general reception functions, providing exceptional customer service to students, visitors and staff.
  • Provide clerical support functions as directed, which may include scanning, filing, data entry, making copies, reports, faxing, and mail distribution.
  • Assist with schedule coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Clerical or customer service experience.
  • Experience with word processing and spreadsheet software.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
Conditions of Employment
  • Successfully pass a criminal history background check prior to employment.
  • Proof of completed COVID-19 Vaccination is required upon hiring and employment at TCC.

Terms of EmploymentThis is a part-time hourly position scheduled to work varied hours during the week between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, up to 16 hours per week. The hourly pay rate is $15.00-$18.00 DOE. Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet department needs. A collective bargaining agreement exists and membership in the Washington Federation of State Employees or payment of a service fee is available upon employment.
