Job Description Summary

The Project Coordinator supports the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Real Estate Development (RED) team in expanding quality affordable housing and enhanced opportunity to residents and communities that we serve. The successful candidate will perform independently with limited supervision in a demanding and time-sensitive environment. This role is designed to facilitate efficient operation and coordination of essential activities that enable Real Estate Development team to maximize effectiveness and impact via high-touch service which fosters enhanced administrative and organizational strength. The position requires confidentiality, organizational, analytical, computer and administrative skills in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support for SVP and team as needed
  • Refine and maintain data, reporting and file systems that track RED projects and programs
  • Manage active list of legal entities for various real estate initiatives to ensure that compliance reporting can be performed timely and accurately
  • Assist the team in preparation of proposals, presentations, and financing packages to enhance development opportunities
  • Manage multiple calendars; provide note taking/minutes for designated meetings, coordinate follow-up and task assignments
  • Coordinate event attendance for RED team essential activities such as pre-development unit walks, site visits with internal and external counter-parties, and other engagements which foster relationship management and prospecting
  • Manage contact list and property data, as well as portfolio summaries, and property fact sheets and other promotional information
  • Support property acquisitions and financial closings by facilitating the internal and external flow of documents and correspondence, including document notarization
  • Participate in cross-functional and corporate committees and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, Workday, Salesforce, and web-based conference tools and social media platforms
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize and translate, verbally and in writing, complex information to influence processes and explain results to parties inside and outside the organization
  • History of helping to build effective, collaborative working relationships that are founded on mutual trust and confidence, integrity, forthright expression of opinions, discretion, good judgment, diplomacy, and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated proficiency in building and sustaining internal and external relationships specifically enhancing organizational reputation and reach
  • Comfort level managing special projects with time-sensitivity
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles business expeditiously, proactively, and with follow-through, advancing projects and tasks to completion
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or similar experience on a specialized field;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a real estate environment (banking, government, development, legal, other)
  • Licensed notary or ability to receive license within 2 months of hire date
