FMG seeks a motivated production artist to invent visual communication to present our findings, recommendations, and concepts to clients, prospects, and stakeholders across a wide range of government and commercial organizations. While these formats typically involve presentations, documents, infographics, and video, we look to introduce new ways to present this information to better meet the needs of and address the audience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to understand project needs
  • Determine the best visual approach and offer creative solutions through effective visualizations
  • Create infographics, presentation decks, templates, and graphics to explain complex topics effectively
  • Assist a creative team in producing one sheets, packaging, social ads, digital graphics, and brand collateral based on brand guidelines
  • Support proposal teams in creating custom templates, graphics, and templates
  • Prepare and inspect preflight materials for digital and print campaigns
  • Work independently on a variety of projects with accuracy, minimal supervision, and timeliness
  • Maintain the image and video library and source new materials for use

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a creative environment
  • A portfolio demonstrating document layout, design theory, typography, and color
  • Strong knowledge of printing and digital process 
  • Experience creating logos, brand identity, and presentation templates
  • Previous involvement in effective campaigns, social media, websites, email, and experiential learning
  • Able to find fulfillment working in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC and MS Office applications
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, WordPress, JavaScript, video/audio editing, and/or 3-D software
  • Section 508 compliance experience is a plus.
