The Opportunity

At Berkadia, our Administrative Assistants play a critical role in delivering an exceptional and smooth experience for our clients, partners, employees and functional operations teams. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your clerical, organization and technology skills to support our Underwriting, Proprietary Lending (PLG) and Credit Operations group on a short term basis. As a Senior Administrative Assistant you will work with our Executive Assistant to help facilitate the efficient operation of this business unit, and learn critical support areas within a growing industry. This opportunity is located at Berkadia's corporate headquarters in Ambler, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia.

Overall, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide administrative support for Underwriting, PLG and Credit Ops teams including telephone/email communications, scheduling meetings and manage meeting agendas, ordering office supplies, office equipment maintenance and operation, inventory control and file creation and maintenance - both electronic and hard copy.
  • Manages/tracks deal progress from the quote through closing for our Fannie Mae Agency Lender.
  • Assists with national and global travel arrangements including visits from India employees.
  • Complete monthly (or as needed) expense reports for staff.
  • Submit invoices from staff as needed.
  • Provides support to senior leadership team members on other tasks as needed.

What you will need to be successful in this role

  • Minimum five years of experience providing senior leadership executive support in a FTE or Contract/Temporary capacity.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Proficient ability with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Ability to manage expectations, informing stakeholders of potential delays due to conflicting priorities.
  • Can-do, proactive attitude that can mean making suggestions and giving options rather than waiting for answers.
  • Able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with all levels of an organization, internally or externally.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
