Under the direction of the Senior Vice President Strategic Partnerships and Marketing, the F&B Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation, coordination, and execution of marketing plans across a diverse range of hospitality experiences at the Seaport. This includes the restaurants at Pier 17 and on Fulton Street, temporary culinary programs at the Seaport and The Greens, Pier 17s seasonal rooftop dining experience.

This role will collaborate with across operations, strategic partnerships, various F&B teams (both internal & external), as well as executive leadership. This individual will lead the development of the culinary marketing strategy and how that is executed annually across multiple touchpoints including PR planning and outreach, events & activations, digital media and advertising, promotions and loyalty, new openings, and reporting.

You will be directly responsible for:

  • Relationship Management: working with existing partners including Jean-Georges Creative Culinary Management (managing The Fulton, Cobble & Co, Pearl Alley, Malibu Farm, The Greens and the Tin Building); NoHo Hospitality (Carne Mare & Mister Dips); and Momofuku (Ssm Bar). Ensure all partners are kept up to date and facilitate approvals where necessary.
  • Culinary Platform Development: extending existing platforms (Seaport Food Lab); building new culinary platforms (Dine by Water Festival); and community programs (Taste of the Seaport).
  • Seasonally Specific Campaigns: building events, promotions and partnerships around specific seasonal moments that are critical to the success of these F&B ventures.
  • Partnership Integrations: working with strategic partnerships to ensure proper integrations of corporate brand partners (i.e. Chase, Heineken, spirits partners) in product offerings & menus, and in events, promotions, and existing experiences (i.e. Chase Sapphire Lounge, Sapphire Sundays, Seaport Sounds, Seaport Fit).


  • Develop and execute consumer advertising and promotion plans to drive brand awareness, engagement and guest reservations across all hospitality assets.
  • Oversee asset creation by submitting creative briefs and working alongside internal and external creative teams to ensure assets meet defined objectives and remain on brand. Facilitate approvals of all creative assets with appropriate parties. Keep a library of all assets created, including physical collateral.
  • Lead activations and partnership programs from a consumer marketing perspective. Ensure appropriate parties are involved in planning, execution and approvals.
  • Ensuring key stakeholders are updated on initiatives and marketing plans by disseminating key information and working collaboratively across departments including, HHC creative studio, events, legal, leasing, operations, and marketing.
  • Manage marketing budget which includes building annual budget with key stakeholders, processing and tracking invoices, managing PCARD expenses, tracking monthly accruals and working with accounting on reporting, where necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive documents that outline planned campaigns and activities and disseminate to appropriate parties. Research and advise on best practices, appropriate media channels, new marketing opportunities and providing competitive analysis.
  • Provide regular reporting including monthly brand sentiment audits, reporting (monthly & quarterly) against goals and objectives using appropriate metrics.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Managers and Social Media Managers across organizations to ensure marketing campaigns are supported across all channels and appropriate reporting is provided to determine success of initiatives.
  • Handle distribution / ordering of marketing materials.
  • Coordinate quarterly reporting achievements against goals and objectives
  • Conduct monthly audits online to ensure Seaport is presented in best light and flag/respond to any inquiries/complaints in a timely manner [Mailbox, Yelp, Trip Advisor].
  • List management, database management, and building an asset archive.


  • Bachelor degree.
  • Minimum 4-6 years in food and beverage industry or related marketing field is a plus. Agency experience a plus.
  • Passionate about marketing, event marketing and digital marketing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details working independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to work well under time constraints and meet deadlines.
  • Lead by example and adhere to the guiding principles of the Howard Hughes brand in order to nurture a culture of creativity and collaboration.
  • Possess a positive attitude.
  • Must be comfortable working with tight deadlines.
  • Copywriting skills helpful.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and social media platforms
  • Knowledge of traditional marketing tactics and interest in emerging marketing tactics
  • Ability to learn other platforms such as Adobe, Salesforce and Google Analytics
  • Strong organization, prioritization, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a large, complex, dynamic organization where a high degree of ambiguity and change exists.
  • Familiarity with restaurant online reservation systems, such as Resy and Tock, is a plus
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
