Learning & Development Intern


The purpose of the L&D Intern is to assist the division with all aspects of Learning and Development for the organization. The incumbent will be tasked with monitoring training compliance, data management and service as a supportive role for the Learning Academy. This role will be a champion for continued learning and development in all aspects of work.

  • Data management
  • Monitoring and communicating training compliance matters to staff and leadership to ensure timely completion
  • Develop and manage data tracking regarding Learning & Development activity, staff participation and trending

This position requires an individual currently enrolled in a collegiate program for Organizational Leadership or a related field. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Adult learning theory, instructional design and professional development is a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. This position will work full-time in an office environment, although the nature of the work may often lead to outside meetings.
