Data Analytics Manager - RCCB

Position Summary:

The Data Analytics Manager supports the Reyes Coca-Cola Division (RCCD), comprised of Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling and Great Lakes Coca-Cola Bottling, and reports through the Sales Enablement team. The Sales Enablement Team is the Data Analytics team supporting our enterprise-wide Sales Operations. The Data Analytics Manager is expected to perform analysis/design, development, testing, and implementation of process and technology for new or existing enterprise solutions (on-prem and cloud), using our data to power data driven decisions and improvements in our sales organization. This role requires strong technical skills, understanding of information systems, and business processes.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Develop reports and data models to measure sales operations execution.

  • Automate new and existing data streams and storage to support data-focused software solutions.

  • Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.

  • Delivers code that adheres to coding standards and software principles.

  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.

  • Identifies and fixes issues without waiting to be assigned.

  • Assesses requirements for clarity and impact in immediate area.

  • Establishes and meets reasonable estimates and goals for delivery.

  • Recognizes when to seek assistance with blockers.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of an area of the codebase with familiarity of related areas.

  • Fosters a positive and supportive work environment in line with RCCD culture and core values.

  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (Math, Engineering, Computer Science) with 6+ years of related experience in data engineering and/or BI experience, building data pipelines and reporting solutions OR High School Diploma with 9+ years of related experience in data engineering and/or BI experience, building data pipelines and reporting solutions.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and a data visualization tool, such as Power BI or Tableau

  • Working experience with Git or another version control tool, job scheduling tools, i.e., cron jobs and Jenkins, and UNIX

  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and Database Table Design.

  • Azure (or another cloud) experience.

  • Problem solving and analysis stills with strong project management orientation.

  • Knowledge of the full SDLC (software development life cycle).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both technical and functional with the ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.

  • Travel requirement: 20%

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience developing and consuming REST web services, APIs (Application Programming Interface).

  • Cloud DevOps.

  • Development experience with the following;
    • Building automated end to end data pipelines with various file types, such as JSON and Parquet
    • JS (JavaScript)
    • Powershell experience
    • SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol)
    • Snowflake
    • Performance Tuning SQL queries
    • Alteryx, Talend, or another ETL development tool such as Informatica
    • Terraform
    • Workflow or process automation design
    • SharePoint.
