Summary: The Boarding Specialist is responsible for entering the necessary financial terms onto the core system. They must be able to accurately identify and enter servicing action items and build appropriate notifications in the core system to allow for appropriate monitoring. This person will also issue payoff letters, service warehouse and other floor plan lines of credit, process incoming payments as well as outgoing wire transfers.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensures accurate and timely funding of new loans assigned
  • Enters the appropriate financial terms of the loan documents to the core system, including loan amount, term, interest, amortization and other data or coding needed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Accurately identifies and enters servicing action items included in loan documents and builds appropriate notifications in the core system to allow for the monitoring of such loan requirements
  • Updates collateral records for Borrowing Base Certificates received from the Credit Dept. to ensure the BBC balances to the loan
  • The issuance of payoff letters, servicing warehouse lines or credit or other floor plan lines of credit. Processes incoming payments, and incoming and outgoing wire transfers
  • Provides customer support post-closing
  • Non-post resolution
  • Completes trade and other credit references
  • Processes the incoming mail, and distributes


Required Education and Experience:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Strong computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Prior financial services or insurance experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

Requirements for performing Essential Functions:

On the job the employee may physically be required to bend, sit, walk, use finger movements, handle objects (manual dexterity), and/or carry/lift loads up to 35lbs. The company requires the use of assistive devices or team lifting to help move or lift objects over 35 lbs. On the job the employee must mentally be able to read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason, and analyze.
