Sales Account Executive Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Executive to join our field sales team, covering Northern New Jersey - Union / Hudson / Essex.
  • You will be responsible for driving net new business revenues using a strategic direction and a consultative approach. This combined with ongoing professional development create the recipe for long-term growth and success.
  • By joining our team, you will engage in activities that lead to opportunities and success.
  • Telephone prospecting and face-to-face cold calling.
  • Conducting client needs analysis.
  • Building solutions that include Hardware, Software, Managed Services, and IT Solutions.
  • Conducting demonstrations.
  • Presenting and closing.
  • Managing clients throughout the lifecycle of their contracts.

Sales Account Executive Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience

Sales Account Executive Training and Development:

  • As a new Sales Account Executive, you will complete a structured training program
  • Ongoing training throughout your career here - training is geared toward sales skills, customer focused selling, database management, hardware, software, Managed Service and IT Solutions

Purpose:

  • Responsible for generating sales and managing account in order to meet individual quotas and company business objectives within a geography.
  • A portion of earnings will be paid on quota via a commission plan.
  • Selling Xerox solutions and will market the full line of Xerox products, services and solutions to both current Stewart Business Systems, LLC, A Xerox Company customers and non-customers within a specified geographic territory. This position will be responsible for driving both short-term sales activity with an account, and also with developing and implementing longer term strategies to ensure Stewart Business Systems, LLC, A Xerox Company will retain the account and grow new business.

Scope:

  • Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers
  • Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills
  • Receives a guidance and direction
  • Decision-making authority guided by policies, procedures, and business operations protocol

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets for new business sales and current customer sales with focus on balanced order performance across all services and product lines inside designated territory.
  • Develop and monitor the achievement of the overall sales account strategy and plan.
  • Developing new business through cold calling and prospecting on a continual basis within the dedicated territory or with established accounts.
  • Manage existing base of Stewart Business Systems, LLC, A Xerox Company Accounts to maximize and grow revenue opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle. Leverage executive level sponsorship in the client's organization to bring new insight to the client about Xerox solutions and services that address their business challenges. This insight is critical to effectively sell services and needs to be the result of industry and client-specific ongoing research.
