Corporate & Investment Banking delivers a comprehensive suite of capital markets, banking, and financial products and services. A trusted partner to our clients, we provide corporate and transactional banking; commercial real estate lending and servicing; investment banking; equity; and fixed income solutions including sales, trading, and research capabilities to corporate, commercial real estate, government, and institutional clients across the globe.

Manage International Settlement Operations and day to day responsibilities of that team. Candidate will be responsible for monitoring both internal and external systems related to trade settlements from both trade clearance and operational risk standpoints. Candidate will act as a liaison between settlement and various internal and external clients/business partners (Middle Office/Sales, Securities Finance, Compliance, Repo/Funding Desk, counterparty back offices, vendor contacts). Candidate will be responsible for maintaining and a high level of service between settlements and the functional areas we support.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of capital markets industry experience

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

  • Working knowledge of global trade settlement and international markets
  • Working knowledge of industry standards and deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate effective analytical skills

  • Ability to identify areas of improvement and also formulate plans to effect positive change within a team environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and able to react to change quickly
  • Working knowledge of Broadridge systems including GLOSS, Impact and BPS
  • BS/BA degree in Finance or related field.
  • Strong accounting background with knowledge of reconciliation
  • 5+ years of experience in the securities industry 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to analyze and interpret data from both statistical and efficiency standpoints
