IT Help Desk Specialist

CFS Technology has been contacted by a longtime client that has a permanent need for a talented IT Support Specialist.This is a unique position working alongside a tight knit team. Each day will be different as you work alongside with others, and solo, to assist your internal and external customers in their IT needs. Our client is highly dedicated to helping the members of their team grow and develop throughout their career with the organization.

Job ResponsibilitiesAs an IT Support Specialist you will play an integral part within our client's Information Technology Department. This will involve assisting in a variety of IT functions, including working with end users on a variety of needs, and special projects.Specific duties in this role include:

  • Support end-users across multiple sites
  • Communication via phone, email, instant messaging with internal/external customers to address, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues
  • Be able to work through a variety of projects with varying complexity
  • Test and deploy patches
  • Managing Windows OS, remote management tools, creating scripts and batch files
  • Administer the organizations Workstation Environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree - IT, Networking, Systems, or related
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Workstation Set-up
  • Software/Hardware Troubleshooting
  • IT Certifications i.e. A+, Network+, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
