The Supervisor, IT Service Center oversees, manages, and leads day-to-day technical support to employees for a range of hardware and software related systems. Delivers complete, accurate and excellent service. Serves as a point of escalation for the IT Service Center Associate I (ITSC1) and IT Service Center Associate II (ITSC2) teams on difficult but typically are not complex problems. Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users, which includes trouble shooting, fault rectification and problem escalation. Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders. Assists in hardware and software evaluation and recommends upgrades or improvements to IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Provides IT hardware/software support, including (but, not limited to): troubleshooting issues with end-user computers, conference room A/V solutions, office telephones, and wi-fi/network connectivity. Acts as the primary point of escalation for all IT-related issues and requests.
  • Ensures all incidents and requests are properly documented and prioritized. Evaluates staff workload and office environment and makes decisions to improve existing systems and processes.
  • Supervises departmental day-to-day activities of assigned staff; oversees, trains, hires and coach's direct reports while guiding them to reach their potential and providing constructive feedback for employee development. Provides strategic direction, short-term objectives, and oversight of staff to ensure quality delivery of projects and client support.
  • Develops and monitors team progress and evaluates effectiveness of training materials and deliverables. Creates and maintains standardized operating policies and procedures for low to moderately complex issues to ensure operational readiness. Develops strategies and support plans to consistently exceed service levels in a highly dynamic and fast changing environment; proactively identifies resource gaps and propose mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science and/or another related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience working in a desktop maintenance environment working using Active Directory and Office365 or Exchange administration required. Experience providing IT support to employees at all levels of the organization, from front-line employees to executive management required.
  • Minimum 1 year managerial / leadership experience with direct reports.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certification, preferred.
