Executive Board Coordinator

This individual will mainly be responsible for supporting the CEO directly as well as additional board members as needed. This includes the following:

  • Plan, organize, schedule and perform a variety of sensitive, confidential and responsible administrative functions in support of the Board of Directors and Board committees.
  • Coordinate communications and information among Board members, Chief Executive Officer and other staff, consultants and community, and other external parties as needed to ensure timelines are met; coordinate schedules and communicate to others regarding meetings, appointments.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, Board packets, attend Board and committee meetings, takes minutes, track attendance and maintain all records related to the Board; work independently in coordinating Board activities.
  • Conduct research and data collection on special assignments and projects; coordinate RFP's and contracting process which includes preparing RFP, scheduling interviews, reference checks, and contracts, etc.
  • Track and provide reports on various Board initiatives and activities.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and reimbursements for Board of Directors.
  • Coordinate and assist in Board recruitment, training and new Board member orientation.
  • Coordinate consultant services for the Board.
  • Provide research and coordinate administrative support as requested.
  • Monitor annual Board budget.
  • Supervise Board Interpreter which includes coordinating hiring, providing on-the-job training, and scheduling; conducting performance evaluation and implementing corrective/disciplinary action if necessary.
