Finance brings together enterprise functions that drive Wells Fargo's financial management, including accounting and control, financial planning and analysis, line of business finance, asset-liability management, treasury, tax management, and the company's investment portfolios. They also inform shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines.

Finance & Public Affairs Strategic Change Delivery (Fin & PA SCD) leads Finance & Public Affairs portfolios through end to end change delivery to ensure strategic business outcomes are achieved through successful execution of programs, projects and products. Fin & PA SCD ensures adherence to all applicable change delivery policies / procedures enabling compliance, control, and risk management throughout the delivery life cycle. 
 
This position is part of Fin & PA SCD's Shared Services team and will support Change Management, adopting change from  external mandates and driving change brought on from internal process improvement initiatives that must be evaluated, coordinated, and planned to effectively implement change within the Fin & PA SCD organization and across all stakeholders involved in Finance and Public Affairs strategic change efforts. The change agent will drive change management and continuous improvement to support portfolio transformation (elevated governance, restructured book of work shifting from regulatory towards transformation, move to products and agile) while also focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and value. The role will create a vision, structure, organization, processes and metrics that enable and accelerate transformation rather than inhibit it. The successful individual will be proactive and self-directed to drive results, and demonstrate the ability to embrace challenges with creativity, be solution oriented, and influence peers, leaders, and partners. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Maintain relationships with key partners in Enterprise Change Management, Finance Transformation Office, Technology, and other Enterprise functions
  • Understand the degree of impact of the modifications to policy, processes and tools; identify who is impacted and the change they will experience
  • Partner to design change activities to address the impacts
  • Lead and successfully implement the day-to-day change management plan and activities
  • Facilitate information sharing across group and with partners as change is introduced 
  • Share feedback and lessons learned with partners driving changes
  • Participate in assessment of progress toward Fin & PA SCD's maturity model
  • Oversee group strategic priority initiatives
  • Provide consulting services to peers and leaders to assist with effective change implementation within the group
  • Assign, track, resolve, and escalate all transformation-related impediments and risks


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Agile experience
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills
  • Change management experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of enterprise Change Management Policy
  • Communicates clearly and concisely and is able to distill complex concepts into succinct messaging and presentations
